The Jasper and Milo Series by Lynn Emslie

Dogs are one of my favorite subject matters in children’s books, so, today, I’m excited to introduce British author Lynn Emslie and her books. Her illustrated series about two puppy brothers, Jasper and Milo, include many adventurous firsts as the two leave the litter, find a new home, and ultimately settle into ‘puppy hood’.

Emslie’s Jasper and Milo series is comprised of three books: Jasper and Milo’s New Home, Jasper and Milo’s Walk in the Park, and Jasper and Milo’s Great Adventure. The illustrations, by Elenei Rae Pulido, are absolutely adorable.

I have been very pleased to be involved in helping to save Castle Cary Library from closure. Please see the attached press release below:

Following a consultation process, Somerset County Council is supporting the newly formed Friends of Castle Cary Community Library to transfer services from spring 2019. The project has gained great support from the local communities, Town and Parish Councils and is hoping to further develop current services to meet expressed need. Jasper and Milo are fully supporting the development of Castle Cary Community Library and I shall be offering readings etc to help widen the range of services and outreach; especially to local pre- schools and schools.
