Jasper and Milo had a great day at the North Somerset Show on Bank Holiday Monday 6th May 2019. The weather was good and there were thousands of people enjoying the event. It was great to meet people and introduce them to my books and the importance of reading.
I was very privileged to be invited onto the Jedlie Podcast – Reading with Your Kids, with Jed Doherty, for a second time. Jed has established a great reputation of enabling children and adults to share reading; a concept which I fully support and aspire to develop through Jasper and Milo. In the interview, we talk a lot about libraries and how they have developed to meet current need. Again, this is an area of work I fully support and am pleased to support my local libraries with readings etc.

It was great to support Yeovil Library launch the Somerset Summer Reading Challenge on Saturday 21st July 2018. There was a super party atmosphere with lots of people attending and it was great to meet so may young readers and their families. Maybe this is the start of many great reading adventures.
