I had great fun taking my Jasper and Milo books to the Big Bark, Shepton Mallett. This year was a two day event and brough thousands of people and dogs of every size, shape and breed to the event. I met lovely people and sold books so happy reading!

At last, a real live event where I can promote my Jasper and Milo books. During lock-down, I have been busy recording book readings and making videos but now we are back at a live event!

Thank you to Yeovil Library for inviting me back for a third visit. It was great to read all my Jasper and Milo books as well as talk about the importance of reading.

 

I was honoured to offer the first event for children at the newly formed Castle Cary Community Library. It was great to read all three books and also talk about the importance of reading. Everyone had a go at reading to others and we had a great time. This was the launch event of First Reading, which is my approach to encourage reading using my Jasper and Milo books. I am keen to take this approach to other venues where the child and supporter can both practice their reading in a safe and supportive environment.
